VERMOUTH DI TORINO
SUPERIORE ROSSO
Canone Occidentale Vermouth Rosso is crafted (a rather rare quality) using a red wine, Langhe DOC Dolcetto. The aromatic preparation includes three different types of Artemisia, an essential botanical for a Vermouth that respects traditional standards: Absintium, Pontica, and Vallesiaca. To these are added Salvia Sclarea, Hyssopus Officinalis, and Centaurea Benedicta, all of Piedmontese origin.
The result is a Vermouth that blends exotic flavors of roots, barks, and cocoa beans
with more familiar notes such as Piedmontese hazelnut.
The symbol of Canone Occidentale Vermouth Rosso, an octagon, is a tribute to the square in Turin that hosts the Mercato di Porta Palazzo, a crossroads and fusion of cultures, flavors, tastes, and colors, both near and far, traditional and exotic, just like this Vermouth.
160 grams of sugar per liter - 75cl bottle - 18 % vol.
