About Camatti

Amaro - Camatti is produced by San Gallo Distilleria delle Cinque Terre,

a traditional family business established in 1964 and based in the province of Genova in Liguria.

It was developed in 1924 by Mr. Briganti in Recco. And it wears the name of his wife, Camatti.

After many years of success, it was acquired in 1989 by the Bergamino family, who continues to these

days to produce and distribute it, also to the US and several European markets.

The harvest of the herbs and plants is supervised by the distillery. Then a process of infusion and maceration specific for each of the ingredients is executed. This ensures that individual charateristics are respected and each component complements each other.

Among the ingredients there are almond tree, bitter orange tree, cinchona tree, mint and gentian.

Amaro Camatti with its 20% alcohol content is perfect to drink alone chilled or with some ice cubes.

Camatti can also be utilized in various cocktails.

The high quality of the product was rewarded in 2023 with 3 gold medals at the World Liqueur Awards.
