About Sibona
Historical distillery producing grappa for more than 100 years. Proud owner of the licence nr.1 of the region.
It is based in Piobesi, close to Alba at the intersection of Langhe and Roero where the great wines from Piedmont are grown: Barolo, Barbaresco, Barbera, Dolcetto, Moscato, Arneis, Chardonnay
Sibona distills only single-vine grapes coming from within 25 kilometers of its site.
Sibona made substantial investments in the distilling facilities with copper stills, and developed a unique expertise in special wood barrel aging. There are around 1.600 barrels with grappa aging in their facilities.
Sibona and its products have been awarded many recognitions, among them
“Best Distillery of the Year” by ISW for 6 years in a row. (2023 last time).
